Today we notice a growth in girls being involved in things that were once considered male dominant – comic books, video games, computer programing, MMORPGs, etc. Even today we are seeing women write books aimed towards other women interested in playing Dungeons & Dragons or getting jobs in game design.
Nerdy Chix goal is to provide women with interests in topics that are normally thought of as ungirly due to their nerdy nature. We also want to give these women a chance to speak their voice by contributing articles to the Nerdy Chix News.
Though we are intended to reach a female audience, we also strive to not make this site another Glamour Magazine type of site. You don’t need to know “10 More Ways To Please Your Gamer Man” but show information on what your favorite video game company is cooking up next.
